About Me
One of the advantages of growing up in Lacombe was the opportunities it provided for playing several sports. Being a multi-sport athlete taught me the value of hard work, time management, and the importance of living a physically active life. It encouraged my passion for continually seeking effective ways to enhance client performance.
I attended the University of Calgary and pursued a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Commerce. I continued to be involved in sports, playing fastball at the intercollegiate level, being a participant and administrator with the Dino’s Cheerleading Team, and teaching dance. I had my first introduction to personal training and strength and conditioning while studying there.
Since then, strength and conditioning have been the vehicle that has allowed me to share my passion and knowledge in enhancing athletic performance. As such, I have accumulated nine years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach in recreation centers, soccer clubs, and at a sports school. To enhance my coaching performance, I recently obtained a Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation from the University of Alberta. While pursuing my master’s, I had the opportunity to study a semester abroad at the Norwegian School of Sport Science. In addition to attending classes there, I could shadow strength and conditioning coaches in an elite youth training facility and at the Olympic training center in Oslo.
I am excited to be joining the TnT family! I am looking forward to sharing my passion and knowledge in a manner that will assist you in reaching your performance goals.
